Amy Eastin got her undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas School of Journalism in Strategic Communications. After graduating, she taught English in Seoul, South Korea for a year, backpacked through Southeast Asia and India for three months, and served in the Peace Corps in Bulgaria. After returning to the states, she settled down in Kansas City, getting her Master’s Degree in Public Administration focusing in Nonprofit Management from the University of Missouri- Kansas City. She met her husband and settled down -as much as she ever will. Now they have 3 kids: identical twin 6-year-old girls and a 3-year-old boy. Amy created the Instagram account Everyday Outdoor Family to encourage others (and herself) to see the beauty and adventures in Kansas City and the Midwest.
